Fiction The Book of Esther Not my cup of tea

I really tried to like this book. The Book of Esther from the bible is one of my favorites. This was definitely a fantasy but everything was so mixed up it was hard to know what century was the setting. Many things were antiquated like the dial up phone. But the most amazing thing in the book was the mechanical horse that replicated the motions of a real horse. The names of the people and countries made it difficult to follow.
